Comments: Why are we making this video available? Because we believe it is important to remember the risks involved in the powered paragliding (paramotoring). It is always far too easy to become complacent about flying. Videos like these serve to shake off the complacency! Flying low in thermic conditions is always a bit risky. Here`s the proof. Chris`s wing suffers a 100% collapse low to the ground. It almost recovers just as he crashes into the ground. The trike axle absorbed most of the impact. Chris was uninjured.
An overcast start to the day meant that thermic activity was still quite active later than usual.
