Alpine Sky Tours - 2004

I would like to thank Dave, Toby & Fritz at 'Alpine Sky Tours' for two excellent holidays. It's just a shame that I now live in Canada. I guess I'll have to start saving for the air fare! If you've not flown in the Alps before you don't know what you are missing. Car parking near take off, launch matting/ramps. Cafes at launch and landing. Stunning, massive scenery and great food. I can't wait to be back there.

Day 2

We woke up to a thick layer of snow outside. No flying today either! It looked as if it was going to be our chance to get the last out of the ski season.

After an ample breakfast of cereal, French bread, cheeses, meats, yoghurts and whatever else Dave could cram onto the table we set off for the ski-hire shop.

Kitted up we were soon on the slopes (day lift pass was 19 Euro). Dave is an experienced snowboarder and skier and he was soon leading those who were able into deep fresh powder off-piste.

The evening was rounded off with a highbrow film (Terminator 3!) and another superb meal.

All went to bed happy, but dreamt of flying the next day.......
